
4-H Councils
Salt Lake County 4-H has several volunteer councils that provide strong local support including:
Salt Lake County 4-H Leaders Council: This organization is governed by 4-H volunteers and extension staff and provides leadership and guidance for the Salt Lake County 4-H Program. Their specific roles include volunteer and member recruitment, support and recognition; fund raising; planning and implementation of 4-H programs and events; and marketing and promotion of the 4-H program. Salt Lake County 4-H Horse Council: This organization is governed by 4-H volunteers and extension staff. It provides leadership and guidance for the local 4-H Horse Program. Contact marcelle.smith@usu.edu.
Salt Lake County Junior Livestock Council: This organization is governed by 4-H volunteers, FFA Advisors and extension staff. It provides leadership and guidance for the Junior Livestock Program. Contact marcelle.smith@usu.edu.
