• Juniors & Intermediates (Grades 3-8) - June 26, 2008 (Garments/patterns due for judging construction by June  25, by 5 p.m. in the Salt Lake County 4-H office)

Team or Individual:  Individual only. 

Registration Deadline:

• Seniors - June 15, 2008
• Juniors & Intermediates - June 15, 2008

Description:  Youth sew a garment and model it for the judges.  Judging includes clothing construction; modeling, fit, confidence and poise; and how well they respond in an interview process. All participants model their garments for the audience during the culminating 4-H Fashion Revue.

Next Steps:

• County 4-H Fashion Revue contestants in 3-8 grades are invited to model their garment and participate in an interview (no construction judging) during Northern Regional Contests
• Selected delegates in grades 9-12 will be invited to represent Salt Lake County in State Fashion Revue Competition.
• Contestants in all grades are invited to model their garment in the 4-H Showcase during the Salt Lake County Fair on

Awards:  Each youth receives a certificate and earns a blue, red or white ribbons based on the Danish judging system:

·          Blue (excellent): 90-100

·          Red (good ): 75-89

·          White (fair): 74 and below

The 1st place Senior Division winner will receive a partial scholarship to compete in State 4-H Contests in July.   

We follow state guidelines for this county event.
