4-H Horse Shows
Salt Lake County 4-H has a very active horse program that is open to youth in 3-12 grades. Youth have many opportunities to compete in county 4-H horse shows, participate in horse-related contests such as Horse Bowl, Hipplogy, Horse Public Speaking, Horse Demonstrations, and Horse Judging, and experience a variety of leadership roles such as serving as a club officer or a youth representative on 4-H Horse Council.
4-H Horse Council is the volunteer organization that gives leadership to the horse program. They plan and conduct these shows each year:
- June Show
- Intermediates and Seniors - Friday, June , 2008
- Juniors, Novice and Ponies – Saturday, June , 2008

- July Show
