Dates: February 21, 2008
Eligibility: Youth in 6-12 grades.
Team or Individual: Individual only. Please Note: We will modify this contest at the county level to only allow for individual competition. The top four scoring youth in the 9-12 grade division will be selected to represent Salt Lake County in state competition.
Registration Deadline: February 15, 2008
Description: Youth will compete in a quiz bowl type contest answering questions related to the Consumer & Family Science curriculum area, including foods and nutrition, financial management, clothing and textiles, consumer decision making, and child care.

Awards: Each youth receives a certificate and earns a blue, red or white ribbons based on the Danish judging system:
· Blue (excellent): 90-100
· Red (good ): 75-89
· White (fair): 74 and below
The 1st place Senior Division winner will receive a partial scholarship to compete in State 4-H Contests in July.
