Contest Date:  Thursday, October , 2008

Location: Extension Office

Time:  6:00 p.m.

Eligibility: Grades 9-12.  

Team or Individual:  Individual or Team of Two

Description:  Youth shoot footage, edit and produce a 3-5 minute music video, present their final product to the judges, and participate in an interview about video production.  The finished product can either be VHS or DVD. 

Registration Deadline: Monday, October 9

Next Steps:

• Selected delegates in grades 9-12 will be invited to represent Salt Lake County in State Video Production Competition.

Awards:  Each youth receives a certificate and earns a blue, red or white ribbons based on the Danish judging system:

• Blue (excellent): 90-100
• Red (good): 75-89
• White (fair): 74 and below

The 1st place Senior Division winner will receive a partial scholarship to compete in State 4-H Contests in July.
